I got a bunch of old albums that used to belong to my mom and my dad. They're all banged up. This is my blog about organizing them and trying to restore them. That's what I intended it to be at first anyway. Turns out this stuff is so old and so tied to my memories about my family that it's turning into a blog about them too. Sometimes I try to be funny. Maybe a lot of the time? I should probably rewrite this description. Probably won't though.

Moby Grape - Moby Grape
Screw it. Let's try one from the "Hippy Stuff" pile. Moby Grape? What the hell? Aw, fuck it. Other than my faith in the basic goodness of my fellow man and my will to live, what have I got to lose? This one was my mom's, has her name on it. Let's see what happens when I play it.
Kinda scratched up, but I've seen enough of these banged up platters to know superficial scratches when I see them.
...holy crap. Two songs in, this is pretty good. Two songs in this is really very good. The first song sounds kind of like a themesong for a TV show. Like a Monkees song, but in a good one. The second one is straight up blues rock. I wouldn't walk out of a bar if these guys were playing.
