I must have really loved this movie because here it is on vinyl, and I remember my dad having a copy on 8-track (it was a thing. google it.). He had an old Chevy Malibu from back when that was a cool car to have and not a grocery getter. It had an 8-track in it and we'd drive around singing along with Creedence and The Who and The Police and one or two he had for me. This was one of the ones he had for me. Anyway it was a good album and I have good memories about it. But not good enough to remember to update the blog when I played it. I played this like a month ago and forgot to write an entry for it until now.
Cleaned up. Plays nice. There you go.

I got a bunch of old albums that used to belong to my mom and my dad. They're all banged up. This is my blog about organizing them and trying to restore them. That's what I intended it to be at first anyway. Turns out this stuff is so old and so tied to my memories about my family that it's turning into a blog about them too. Sometimes I try to be funny. Maybe a lot of the time? I should probably rewrite this description. Probably won't though.

The Muppets - Miss Piggy's Aerobique Exercise Workout Album
This one wasn't even in a cover. I don't remember ever hearing this. It's not my mom's and it's not mine which probably means someone gave it to my sister as a present. To which I have to say, who the fuck gives this kind of shit to a little girl? Aren't they under enough pressure to conform to our society's bullshit standards of beauty? What the fuck was Jim Henson thinking?
I like to picture my eight year old sister opening this, pulling a face, saying, "Thanks. I'm NEVER going to listen to this." Then winging it over her shoulder like a 12-by-12 square throwing star, picking up her Rainbow Brite doll, and walking the fuck out of the room, LIKE A BOSS.
The thought of someone giving this to her as a gift does remind me though, that there was once a time when you could get a large, flat, square present and it MIGHT not be a wall calendar.
