I got a bunch of old albums that used to belong to my mom and my dad. They're all banged up. This is my blog about organizing them and trying to restore them. That's what I intended it to be at first anyway. Turns out this stuff is so old and so tied to my memories about my family that it's turning into a blog about them too. Sometimes I try to be funny. Maybe a lot of the time? I should probably rewrite this description. Probably won't though.

Peter, Paul and Mary - Peter, Paul and Mary
True story. Peter Yarrow, the short creepy looking guy on this album cover (not the tall creepy looking guy, that's Paul), molested a 14-year-old girl in his hotel room in 1970. Then in 2010 he performed "the Colonoscopy Song" live on a morning news show on CBS.
Now, back in 1962, my dad had no way of predicting either of those things.
But that's still no excuse for not realizing how fucking awful this goddam album was.
I mean god dammit.
GOD DAMMIT!
